EMPLOYEE PAYROLL

Being America’s first jobs we saw the opportunity as the employer to fill in gaps of missing information that our crew desperately needed to continue to be successful whether it be with us or another career. 

Summer of 2019 we started to research how to empower our crew. We felt our current payroll company was too cumbersome and our crew was dependent on the back office for much of their information.

The sudden emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic is dealing a severe blow to our businesses but more importantly we have to recognize the effects it has on our employees. During this unprecedented time we have had several employees contract the virus. As an organization we have taken strict measures and adjusted our protocols to protect our employees and the brand.

Masks, gloves, hand sanitizer, thermometers for temperature checks, counter shields and panels, decals, social distancing practices and paid covid for testing are just a couple of the steps we have taken to fight this dangerous virus.

Employees that contracted the virus were asked to quarantine for a minimum of 14 days as well as provide a negative test result to return for work. While in quarantine we as an organization still continued to pay these employees. This decision allowed us to build loyalty with our employees and let them know that we are truly in this together.

We strongly encourage our employees that are in school to take advantage of our Archways Tuition assistance program. Although due to COVID-19 we have had a drop in enrollment we do have Two employees that have taken those funds and applied them to online learning.

ENGLISH UNDER THE ARCHES

We want our employees to feel confident in all that they do. If they are bilingual, that includes them being comfortable speaking in English. Whether they are speaking to customers or staff, their voices should be heard. English Under the Arches is offered to all employees. Currently we have 4 Graduates from the program.

EVERYDAY IS A BIRTHDAY

Birthday celebrations are opportunities to better engage employees and show them they’re appreciated members of our team.You might be surprised to learn that birthdays are actually one of the three days that employees are most likely to quit their jobs

Giving an employee special attention on their birthday makes them feel valued and recognized.

FEEL GOOD MOMENT

We understand that things happen beyond our control in this life. Kevin Josey, an employee of our OST location, lost everything in a house fire. We can appreciate our courageous employees for their loyalty and sheer will power to go through a tragedy like that and still show up to work, on time, with a smile. Denise felt compelled to do something special and  help him  get back up on his feet.

A charitable contribution was given to him.

BACK TO SCHOOL GIVEAWAY

Back to School giveaway raffle.

100 back packs were raffled to each restaurant

with school supplies, sanitizer, and masks.

RAY KROC AWARD WINNER

The Ray Kroc award allows us to pay tribute to our

top-performing Restaurant Managers and recognize them for delivering an outstanding restaurant experience for our customers, as well as creating a positive work environment for their staff. MARIA ROSALES, GM at our Telephone Rd Location was a 2019 recipient. 

Everyday she execute's whatever task or new initiative we throw at her. Maria, not only handles adversity, new initiatives, system changes, and remodels with ease but has passed that trait on to her managers and crew. She is very soft spoken but runs a tight ship, at the same time creating a welcoming environment for her customers and crew. Over the last two years, she has dealt with an illness that continues to swell up her ankle but she does not allow her that to stop her from her day to day duties at the restaurant.  Her dedication to this business is awe-inspiring. Maria is the embodiment of McDonald's core values, an outstanding General Manager, and an asset to our business.
